ANTOINE BOURDELLE SCULPTURE WORKSHOP
In partnership with Art Of Corner, Arforia was in charge of the development of a photorealistic VR experience based on photogrammetry reconstruction of Antoine Bourdelle sculpture’s workshop.
Surrounding Sculptor Antoine Bourdelle’s workshop is the “Musée Bourdelle”. Built in 1878 in the middle of an artist village, this area is now a testimony of the long gone creative ambiance of the Montparnasse neighborhood.
Today the oldest part of the museum is Bourdelle’s workshop and it is there that “Paris Musée” wished to focus an immersive and interactive VR experience.
In partnership with Art Of Corner, Arforia was in charge of the development of a photorealistic VR experience based on photogrammetry reconstruction. The user is teleported in a perfect reconstitution of the original Workshop but augmented with interactive content.
The fidelity of the 3D model and its high resolution textures allows one to get close to the sculptures with a total freedom of movement thanks to 6DoF VR headset capabilities.
This VR experience has received the “Laval Virtual Best VR experience” and the “Lumiere” price during the “Stereopisa” event in Bruxelles.
