Commissioned by Gédéon Media Groupe, Arforia, in partnership with Aristeas, is in charge of the development of a VR experience that reproduces the royale private painting gallery of the King in Versailles.
During the 17th century, Louis the sixteenth transformed Versailles into the beautiful palace we know today.
Three centuries later, the recent discoveries and the newest technologies aim to recompose parts of the palace that no longer exist.
Commissioned by Gédéon Media Groupe, Arforia, in partnership with Aristeas, is in charge of the development of a VR experience that reproduces the royale private painting gallery of the King in Versailles. This App features an interactive painting layout system to simulate the way artworks were displayed at this period.
Historian specialist Mathieu Lett says “The Petite Galerie of Versailles is a privileged place for the royale painting collections”. “It features many prestigious artworks like Leonardo Da Vinci “La Joconde” or some of the finest works from “Le Titien”.
The immersive and interactive application features numerous paintings from Louis the sixteenth private collections and Mathieu Lett can freely experiment with their layout in real time following the art display conventions for this period.
